Brodart launches new Web site.
Giving Brodart Furniture’s online presence a new look and feel, the updated design offers a fresh look at Brodart’s product offerings and incorporates a number of enhanced features.
When arriving to brodartfurniture.com, visitors are greeted with many opportunities where they can quickly locate popular points of interest. New products are featured as well as news articles, installations, and more.
Unlike the previous site, Brodart’s new site includes a product gallery in each section, which allows the user to see an expanded selection from circulation desks and computer stations to reading tables and chairs. When the new site was designed, appearance was a main concern, but functionality and usability were also major factors considered during development.
Reviewing a collection in its entirety as you can on the Brodart site is helpful in allowing librarians to see how each component works together to complement a particular design scheme. Additionally, because Brodart furniture is custom there are so many options from which to choose. Having as many ideas presented on the site as possible will better help libraries find a look that functions appropriately in their particular facility.
