Brodart featured in Manufacturing-Today.com

Brodart Co. is featured in the article “The Library Company” in the January/February 2008 edition of manufacturing-today.com. Quoted in the article from Brodart is Randy MacKenzie, Vice President, Library Supplies and Furnishings Division.

Author Joanna Miller reports on Brodart’s focus on manufacturing custom library furniture, as well as the company’s growth in the college and public library markets. As Mackenzie points out in the article, this market expansion helps protect the company from overseas competition because Brodart is capable of delivering quality custom furniture in a much shorter lead time.

Mackenzie is quoted in the article, saying, “We call ourselves the library company—that’s our focus. We are focused on our niche. The Brodart brand is strong.”
