Industry leaders introduce Brodart Creative at PLA show

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Industry leaders Brodart Company and Creative Arts Unlimited of Pennsylvania and Florida, respectively, announced the exciting new collaboration Brodart Creative at the Public Library Association (PLA) 12th National Conference in Minneapolis, March 26-28.

Brodart Company has built a solid reputation for manufacturing quality, durable furniture for libraries around the globe for nearly 70 years, while Creative Arts Unlimited has achieved a national reputation for creating and fabricating extraordinary interior designs for a variety of industries.

The recently-formed Brodart Creative provides administrators, contractors, and architects with the world’s premier custom environment destinations for school, college, and public libraries. The new venture’s specialties include custom desks, workstations, chairs, benches, three-dimensional signage, murals, wall art, entranceways, and arches.

“We are excited to be announcing this new venture at the prestigious Public Library Association National Conference,” said Roger Barganier, President of Creative Arts Unlimited. “It has become increasingly important for libraries and other institutions to differentiate and brand their facilities—in essence, turn them into exciting destinations—so that their patrons will enjoy returning time and again.”

“This new collaboration will bridge imagination and innovation, and provide our clients with the best of both worlds,” said Chris Frantz, Director of Sales & Marketing for Brodart. “Brodart Creative provides a level of quality craftsmanship and superior design like no other—all customized to meet and exceed our clients’ expectations.”

According to Frantz, projects will include custom environments of all scopes and sizes for libraries, hospitals, museums, retail locations, and hospitality settings.

“We work with our clients on a one-on-one basis to create a unique multi-dimensional environment that brings ‘learning to life,’” said Barganier. “Whether it’s a renovation or new construction project, we manage all aspects of the project from start to finish.”

Nearly 10,000 library staff, supporters, exhibitors, authors, and guests descended on the Minneapolis Convention Center for various workshops and discussions that focused on key issues such as technology; serving adults; youth and new Americans; gaming in libraries; library design and collection development as part of the Public Library Association 12th National Conference.
