Brodart participates in Mansfield University dedication
Ms. Julie Brown, Project Manager of Brodart, Inc. and
Mr. Randy McKenzie, VP for Contract Furniture,
Brodart Inc., present Dr. Nesbit with the sign for the
Dr. Larry Nesbit Traditional Room.
The plaque will be hung in Mansfield University’s reading room that was recently renamed the Dr. Larry Nesbit Traditional Reading Room to recognize Nesbit’s outstanding contributions over his 35 years of service to the library and the University at large.
Nesbit spearheaded an effort to revitalize North Hall and succeeded in changing it into a gorgeous state-of-the-art library that is the envy of academic libraries across the Commonwealth.
At the center of the renovation was Brodart furniture, especially chosen to reflect the architectural heritage of this six-story building. The arched end panels on all tables, carrels, and lounge chairs echo the Victorian arches of the building while the Maxim Circulation Desk’s custom front panels reflect the design elements found in the other furniture pieces.
The Nesbit dedication was featured in the May edition of School Library and Information Technologies online newsletter. The publication included a photo (above) of McKenzie and Brown presenting the plaque to Nesbit during the ceremony.
Brodart is proud to share in this special day with the University as Nesbit was honored during this recent dedication.
