COVID-19 Update
April 8, 2020
We are pleased to announce that Brodart has received official permission from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to reopen our furniture manufacturing plant in support of critical infrastructure projects.
Our plan is to restart operations next Monday, April 13. We expect to fulfill orders and manufacture products at normal capacity. Our first priority will be to process backorders that we have not been permitted to handle during the shutdown.
We will reach out to our customers individually to find out if you're currently able to receive shipments. Please let us know if there are any pressing deadlines or hard delivery dates — and we'll do our best to honor those. Otherwise, contact your Brodart Project Coordinator if you have other urgent needs or special instructions for us.
Be assured that we are taking the appropriate precautions to protect the safety of our workers and our community as we ramp up production. Those who are able to work from home will continue to do so. We have adopted a no travel policy. We will limit visitors to our plant, require all those in the facility (including employees) to wear facemasks, observe proper social distancing, and follow all recommendations from the CDC and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania with regard to employee and public safety.
We'll communicate additional information as necessary.
Thank you for your patience and your business.
Sincerely,
Michael Chefalo
Vice President, Furniture
